The Nursery

And He took the children in His arms,
put His hands on them and blessed them.

More Than Babysitting

Our Goal

Our nursery is much more than a convenience for parents or a " holding tank". We strive to love every child, teach Bible basics such as "God made You" or Jesus loves you," be filled with praise to God, promote a safe and secure environment in God's church, and help babies and toddlers develop social and play skills.

We consider every baby a blessing and promise from the Lord. It is our desire to serve the needs of you and your child as we would serve Christ. We attempt to provide a comfortable environment so that each child may feel happy and loved. The seeds of later trust in God are rooted in an early positive experience at church.

The nursery runs with excellent leadership and volunteers who love little children, listen well to parents, and considers every detail important. Your confidence and comfort with our childcare is of utmost importance to us. When you check your child into our nursery, We want you to have a comfortable relaxed time while at church and we do all that we can to make sure your children do too.

What To Expect

Safety Measures

  • The only acceptable nursery is a safe nursery. Newton Fellowship has gone to great lengths to insure each child will be nurtured in a safe and secure environment.

  • During each service our nursery is supervised by a adult coordinator who staffs and oversees all care. The coordinator is trained to respond appropriately in all emergencies.

  • Each volunteer worker has completed a thorough application and references are on file with the church. All have been trained in nursery procedures

  • The nursery rooms are regularly inspected to remove or correct any dangerous elements.

  • Children with known illnesses are not admitted into the nursery.

  • A parent in the sanctuary can be notified immediately of any needs or concerns with their child.

Check-In Procedures

  • In order to provide the best experience for baby and parent alike, we have developed a procedure for checking children in.

  • When you complete the sign-in sheet you will supply the nursery personnel with important information such as where you can be located, child’s special needs, and who will be picking up your child.
