Before women can grow in their relationship with Christ, they must first be introduced to Christ. Twice a year Ladies Ministry provides an event that targets pre-Christian ladies. These are often "sold out" events and provide a great opportunity to introduce a friend or neighbour to Christ in an enjoyable environment
These events include a special guest who presents a feature of interest, a Christian woman who shares the message of Christ in an engaging manner, and a musical guest who encourages us through song. Ladies are treated like queens and princesses at these events!
We have one event in early December and another in the Spring. You won't want to miss these events! Tickets are sold three to four weeks in advance and sell out very quickly, so get your tickets early! Information of upcoming events will be made available in the bulletin.

Every fall, Ladies Ministry provides a weekend Ladies Retreat that is open to a1l women. This event is designed to allow an opportunity for the women in our church to develop new friendships and deepen existing ones. Worship is provided through special music and lots of singing as a group. A guest speaker. shares her life
experiences several times throughout the weekend to encourage us to better understand God's love and grow in our relationship with Christ.
Time is also given for playing games, hiking, (optional!), resting, or reflection.
(Note: If retreats are usually not an option for you because of the sudden strain on the pocket book, not a problem! We always have a payment plan available over at least a 6 month period to make it easier for you to come!) .
For many years a Ladies Bible Study has met at the home of Dorothy Seiler on Thursday mornings. This group is open to anyone who would like to come, and meets September through May. You are welcome to contact Dorothy at 604-594-9777 for more information. |
On several Saturday mornings throughout the year we plan to have breakfast together at the church. We believe that spending time together will build our relationships with each other and with God, so keep checking your bulletin for news of this, and other Ladies events
